For several years we went hiking, cycling and skiing in France to enjoy the beauty of this country and we must admit that we’ve always had a particular interest in its fascinating mountains. Without any doubt, these holidays left their marks … till … finally in the summer of 2006 our dream started to become reality.

We’d fallen in love with a most charming region and its welcoming people … and shortly afterwards we found the perfect house for our “chambres d’hôtes”.

The dream soon became a real project and many telephone calls and e-mails went back and forth between Belgium and France.

In the summer of 2007 we moved to Cadéac, a small village in the Pyrenee mountains in the French department ‘Hautes Pyrénées’ with some 220 inhabitants.

And from now on lots of hard work will keep us busy : renovate the house, check out the village and its surrounding areas, get to know the people and little by little make a home out of our new house, for us and for you !

We are prepared to invest a lot of time and energy in this project and – if everything works out according to plan – we hope to welcome you in the summer of 2008 in our own “chambres-d’hôtes”.
